Welcome to my site! I document my adventures in travel, outwear, and writings. Hope you feel encouraged, loved, and challenged on your way out!

Well this is fo sho my go to place if you can’t tell. I have been going to Oahu since I was a little one. It is like a second home to me for sure #kamaina. My family has our staple beaches and food stops but we always try to go somewhere new. I’m going to try to make this short and sweet.

beaches + food stops+ fun on the North Shore

-Waimea (parking sucks so sometimes you have to park across the street) no waves unless winter but there is “The Rock” to jump off of

-Pipeline (major surf spot)

-Sunset (walk across the street to Banzai Bowls and get a bomb acai bowl or the Sunrise Shack which has papaya bowls)

-Cholos is a great Mexican joint

-The Coffee Gallery (I recommend the Cocanator with half the sweetness and the chocolate chip banana bread)

-Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck (there are two locations on the North shore) they both get packed around lunch time so go early and get it to go (The scampi is the best)

-Haleiwa Bowls (get the surfer bowl and I like to add cacao, raspberries, and bee pollen)

-Haleiwa Joe’s is right across the street from ^ and it is just a great restaurant for fresh seafood or just a nice steak

-Matsumotos is the best shaved ice you’ll ever get. You will wait in line for at least 45 minutes because it’s always packed but you won’t regret it

-If you want to sky dive, this is the place. Go to Sky Dive Hawaii and ask for peg leg (no he didn’t lose his leg sky diving ha) and if you’re ever wondering where Jay Alvarez sky dives in Hawaii, this is the place

Beaches + food stops in Waikiki

-If you have never surfed, taking lessons at Waikiki beach would be your best bet

-If you want any sort of souvenir.. hit an ABC store. They’re about on every single corner downtown

-In the Hilton Hawaiian Village there is a little pizza joint called Round Table that is super yummy, they have them in the mainland but only some states Hiking Diamond Head is a must

Beaches + food + fun Hawaii Kai

-KoKo marina has all sorts of food and shopping but Kokonuts is another great shave ice spot

-Makapu'u (waves are bomb for body surfing, and you can only actually surf after the guards leave)

-Sandy Beach: the waves are beautiful to watch. It is extremely rough and has a strong current, I wouldn’t advise unless you’re a local or an incredible strong swimmer

-The Counter has some bomb burgers and some addicting parmesan fries

-Hanauma Bay has incredible snorkeling

-The Koko head stairs are a great workout/hike and view

-Kuliouou Ridge and Valley is an incredible hike with mazing views

The great hike in Kaneohe, HI

-The stair way to Heaven best hike on the island for view. It was 3922 built in 1942 by the US Navy as a lookout point. The stairs are closed, so if you’re trying to hike you have to go in the middle of the night and sneak past the guard.
